The Great the Bad and the Ugly

Our choice of excellent design and those - well let's just say less than wonderful!

The Great List

Concorde simply the finest artefact man has produced in 2000 years. Not profitable, it cost a fortune to develop. But when you saw it rocket over your head it brought a charge to all your senses.

Just fabulous......we mourn its death

James Wharram Cats

"James Wharram designed his first offshore cruising catamaran, the 23' 6" TANGAROA in 1953, before the word catamaran was yet in common use and began sailing with her off the coast of Britain with a two girl crew.

Since then, James Wharram, together with his designer- partner Hanneke Boon, has been designing, building and sailing offshore catamarans longer than any other multihull designer.

In 1987 the "Multihulls Buyers Guide" showed that James Wharram had sold approximately three times more plans than any other multihull designer in the world."

World Class designer, never comprised, always produced such wonderful sailing boats -still today they're like nothing else on the water
